People resort to making temporary tattoos because they want their own design. There are a lot of designs out there but nothing beats having a personalized one. This way they can have their own design to share with others. They are a great and inexpensive giveaway idea.
A lot of event organizers believe that making temporary tattoos that represent their event is a good way to thank the crowd for coming. Using them as a giveaway makes sense. It's a great souvenir because you can design it according to your event. Sometimes, you don't even have to design anything. There are a lot of designs available to choose from.
A crowd would also wear almost anything to support your event for the mere fact that there is proof enough that they wanted to be a part of it. Why do you think some people buy or make personalized shirts for an event? It's because it gives them a greater sense of being included in the event.
Also, it's almost hassle-free. All you have to do is think of designs and the manufacturers will do the rest. You also don't have to worry about carrying a big bag of giveaways. Before the event is completed, you can easily give them away. Besides, everyone will probably be asking for one. Also, there is almost no clean-up involved with temporary tattoos. Compare that to posters, flags and the like.
Let's say you're a teacher and you're organizing a Halloween Trick or Treat Party for your students. They will come in costume and enjoy the food. They can probably bob for apples or make the perfect jack-o-lantern. It's going to be fun. But what's going to happen after the event? Is the party over? For the attendees, they would get the perfect souvenir that they can wear for a long time.
